This Privacy Policy explains how Lowcode Garage LLC ("Lowcode Garage," "we," "our," or "us"), based in New York, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Rulo app ("Rulo" or the "Service").
By using Rulo, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information when you use Rulo:
- Account Data: Email address, display name, username
- Profile Data: Bio, profile picture/avatar
- Authentication Data: Session tokens, login history, device identifiers
- Messages & Media: Text messages, images, files, GIFs, and related metadata (timestamps, reactions, mentions)
- Community Data: Membership, roles, and permissions within communities
- AI Interactions: Conversations with the Rulo Agent, including queries and responses
- Usage Data: Screen views, button clicks, session times, crash reports, device type, OS, IP address (temporary)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the app's functionality (chat, notifications, AI assistant)
- Enable community features such as member management and permissions
- Deliver push notifications and in-app alerts
- Improve AI responses and app performance
- Ensure platform security and prevent abuse
3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We share data only as necessary to operate Rulo:
- Supabase: Stores all account, message, and media data
- OpenAI: Processes AI queries (no long-term storage)
- YouTube API: Provides public padel content and transcripts
- Tenor API: Provides GIFs (search terms only)
- Expo: Delivers push notifications and app updates
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
- Messages and profile data are retained until you delete them or delete your account
- AI chat history is stored for your convenience and can be deleted per session
- Error logs are retained for up to 90 days
- You may delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your data
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/WSS)
- Secure session tokens with expiration
- Row-level security in our database
- Input validation and abuse prevention
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your data
- Request a copy of your information
- Opt out of marketing communications

7. Children's Privacy
Rulo is intended for users 13+. Users under 18 may need parental consent depending on local law. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
